Animal Fighters

This week I was trying out drawing animals, I'm not very great at drawing animals I'd have to say but this was still very fun and a good experience.

ANIMALS

My first try was something more of a Spanish Fighting Bull, this design was nice but I wanted to do something exaggerated in size.

I did this design, I kept the bearded look but made him incredibly muscular and gave him a mustache.

I went and created a rival for the ox and I was thinking about what kind of animal would be best to take on tough ox, so I used a tiger. Oh and I didn't go with this design because he looks too goofy and not tough enough.

I went with this design because I thought it was dangerous and sleek, qualities I consider the tiger to be.

HUMANS
I then converted the Ox design into a human character, retaining the heavy muscular build, the hairy body. Also I made him into a boxer, specifically an in-fighter type, thus the peek-a-boo stance he has going on the right.

I enjoyed doing the Ox Fighter, if you haven't noticed from my previous drawings, I really like drawing heavy-set characters.

The tiger was fun to convert to a human, I made him into a muay thai fighter, with fight scars all over his body. Like the tiger he has a athletic build, large forearms and the tiger's facial fur becomes the fighter's hair.

I really enjoyed drawing him as a human, all the different poses I could put him in. I gave him an arrogant attitude to go with his look.

Regrettably I think going with the red makes the ox look like the Chicago Bull's mascot.

I think I'm going to make one of those fight posters the make before a match.

Fight of the week, who will win?!
